A Company Committed to

Being a Better Society, Together

This is about all of us. We are like you and not. So similar and yet, so different. Living on the same planet in completely different universes. In the face of all our challenges, we believe in our shared humanity.
We are like you.

We Are Human.

Sometimes our jokes fall flat, or we take for granted the air we breathe. We are the teachers, but mostly the students. We have likes and dislikes. We make mistakes, we sleep, we eat. We laugh and we cry; sometimes at the same time. We love, we rage. We blister, we bruise. We try. We learn, we grow. We hope. We have to. For people beyond us, beside and begone from us.

We came from different worlds that complemented each other. Multifaceted people untethered to just one trait or title.

Curious. Driven. Partners. Millennials. (Yup.)

Erin, a massage therapist from the wellness sector and Alex a producer, guitarist, and musician came from the music industry.

These fields have taught us lessons on the importance of self care, mental health and human connection.

Not “either/or” but AND

These worlds swirled together and then came our passion for cultivating community, promoting mental health and wellness.

Humans can survive on our own but together, we thrive. We have to toe the line of us as individuals and us as a collective, because neither is mutually exclusive.

This is all a poetic way of saying: and so, Bonfire Socials was born. In 2019, after Alex returned home to Texas after touring, Erin had an ember of an idea. A place, a thing, a movement, and a lot of hope to bring people together. For all of us.

Alex, had more kindling. Sparks flew and their fire grew.

Social Lifestyle

“A social lifestyle company dedicated to being a better society together with core values centering around nature, mental health, wellness and of course - community. “

Like everyone, the pandemic brought our plans to a screeching halt and among many other things, brought forth what was already widespread - loneliness.

With so many problems in the world, we need to keep striving for solutions, though we can’t achieve that without discussion. With our diverse, vibrant world, there aren’t one-size-fits-all answers.

We wanted people to talk. We thought a good place to start is right here, the person we are and the ones before us.

There were plenty of conversation cards out there.

We didn’t want to create a deck with psychological questions (not yet, at least!)

But we still wanted people to talk about themselves. And why they are the way they are - their tattoos, their clothes, their hair, their scars

A serious name, with playful intent. SCARS is the first of its kind. A body-focused conversation card deck gamified to normalize our experiences, share stories and connect.

And here we are, 2 years and over 200 questions later with Deeper SCARS to come.

This is just the beginning of the community we are striving to create. We are so excited for you to join us around the bonfire. 🧡🔥
